Another 19 MW Vestas wind turbines will be put into operation this year (02-06-2010)
|
In May the fortieth Vestas wind turbine in Hungary was installed, a wind turbine type V90 2,0MW in Lövő. Also in May another wind turbine type V90 2,0MW was installed in Bőny. In this way, together with the twelve pieces of similar wind turbines installed earlier, the 25 MW capacity wind farm in Bőny became the so far biggest wind farm in Hungary installed by Vestas.
In the summer further seven pieces of Vestas wind turbines will be installed: the construction works of the 15 MW capacity wind farm in Bábolna are on their way. |

Vestas: 41 % market share – commissioning of a 24 MW capacity wind farm in Bőny (05-01-2010)
|
The 24 MW capacity wind farm in Bőny, the so far biggest wind farm in Hungary installed by Vestas, was placed into operation in the middle of December consisting of twelve pieces of Vestas V90 2,0MW type of wind turbines. The rotor diameter of the wind turbines is 90 m, their hub height is 105 m and their nominal capacity is 2,0 MW.
By this way, the market share of Vestas in Hungary grew to 41 % at the end of the year (measured on installed capacity) and the company is the market leader with 81,875 MW installed capacity (total installed capacity in Hungary by the end of the year 2009: 201,325 MW). |
